Bishop Harvey TylerThis correspondence comes to you at the request of the Adjutant General, Bishop Matthew Williams.  It is with great regret that I inform you of the passing of Bishop Harvey Tyler, Prelate of the India First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction. 

Bishop Tyler died on Friday, February 28, 2014.  He was the husband of the beloved Mother Clara Tyler and the father of Missionary Dinah Tyler.  Bishop Tyler was also a Resident Bishop of Southern California First Jurisdiction where the Bishop Joe L. Ealy is the Prelate. 

At the request of Bishop Tyler, there will be no funeral services.  Other information concerning his memorial is as follows:

The Passing of Overseer John H. Bennett

It is with great regret that I inform you of the passing of Adjutant Overseer John H. Bennett who served with distinction as a member of the National Adjutancy for years in service to the late Bishop L. T. Walker, Sr.  Overseer Bennett was the West Memphis District Superintendent in the Arkansas First Jurisdiction under the leadership of the Jurisdictional Prelate, Bishop Jewel R. Withers, Jr. 

Funeral arrangements are being made at this time.  Once these plans are passed on to the adjutancy, then we will make the information available in a timely manner. 

Let us be in prayer for Mother Bennett, the Fifteenth Street Church Of God In Christ, the West Memphis District, the Arkansas First Jurisdiction and the national adjutancy during this time of bereavement.
